A like-for-like replacement in the same layout is usually about one to two weeks from the old kitchen coming out to the appliances being tested. Moving the sink, the hob or the boiler, taking out a wall or replacing the flooring throughout adds to that. Stone worktops are templated only after the units are fitted and then take a week or so to come back, which is normally what sets the end date.

Yes, and we fit kitchens from all the usual suppliers. It is worth having us look over the plan and the order list before you confirm it, because missing end panels, the wrong corner post or a worktop measured short are the things that hold a fit up, and they are far easier to sort before delivery than after.

Yes. Moving services is normal in a kitchen refit: waste and supply pipework for the sink and dishwasher, gas or electric supply to the hob, new circuits for the oven, and radiators repositioned or swapped for plinth heaters to free up wall space. Because the plumbing and electrics are in-house, moving them does not mean waiting on somebody else to turn up.

You will be without the cooker and the sink for the working part of the job, and we try to keep that as short as possible by making sure the units and worktops are on site before we strip anything out. Plenty of customers set up a kettle and a microwave elsewhere in the house for a week or so. We will tell you honestly how long that period will be at quotation stage.

Yes, and it is a common part of a kitchen job. Where the wall is load-bearing it needs a steel or a lintel sized by a structural engineer and building regulations approval, which we will arrange and build to. Where it is a stud partition it is a much simpler piece of work. We will tell you which one you have before you start planning the layout.

Yes. Flooring, tiling, plastering and decoration are all part of what we do, so the whole room gets finished under one contract rather than you chasing a separate tiler and decorator after the kitchen is in. It also settles the question of who made good after the units went in, because it is the same team.
